The College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) at George Mason University has partnered with Pearson and the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards to offer graduate credit to teachers who participate as members of the National Board scoring staff.
At Mason, National Board scoring staff may receive graduate credit for their work. Experiences of participating in the National Board Assessor Training and subsequent assessments of entries to NBPTS provides educators the opportunity for professional growth and development intended to enhance their own teaching by reviewing innovative documents, observing other teachers via videotaping of teaching episodes, and working collaboratively with other assessors.
For detailed information and access to the required forms please visit the George Mason Website.
